Dear Family Letter:
Dear Family,
My name is Karl; I am a native born English speaker and am applying to be a student at the Pontifical Biblical Institute {PIB} in Rome, autumn ‘12-summer ‘13. I will be taking a propaeduetic language year at the PIB before I continue on with my graduate program in Hebrew Biblical Studies. In May ‘12 I will have earned my Bachelor of Arts in English and Theology which is a 4 year university undergraduate degree. I love working with children and come from a family with younger siblings and many young nephews, nieces, and cousins. I want to teach as a career and any opportunity I get, even if it is with young children I make sure something is learned in a fun and interesting way. I have been a director of college residents at my university's dormitories for 3 years and have had great experiences with management and household duties. I also have spent the past 2 summers as a staff-member of a homeless shelter community and I currently teach catechism for children in my parish. I have traveled to Europe, Southeast Asia, and all over North America and love to learn about new cultures and teach others about my own. In school I assist foreign students daily with their assignments by helping them write papers or practice speaking for presentations. I also enjoy cooking very much! Please contact me if you have any queries. I hope to hear from you soon and God bless!
