My name is Jelica I'm 20 years old and I come from Serbia. I have small family- mother father and brother but I have a few cousins and I consider them part of my family. We are close and ready to help each other in every moment and every situations.
I'm a student I study economics and I hope one day I will be a successful business woman.

In my free time I love to go out with my friend read books listen to music and something like that. I also really like to travel meet new people and new cultures. Of course I really like kids and I think this program is really good. It's a great opportunity to learn something about your country your life style to learn English perfectly and in the other way it's great way to make us to be really responsible and to learn to live with people who we don't know to be grow-up and live without parents. I think that it is great it's one of the most important thing in whole life.


I started babysitting a few years ago but I can say that I have a really big experience. I have younger brother so whole my life I was big sister and watching him. I always try to help him and to learn him most important things in life. He has 16 now but I still feel that he is just my little brother.

At first I was babysitting my cousin Milica when she was about one years old. She was a really great baby and I really learned to love babysitting. We spend nice time. I was feeding her prepare her food learn her first letter counting and colors. Her favorite color was pink. She was so sweet when she said "Minja like pink" (Minja is her nickname she called herself Minja so we call her Minja). She loved children song especially song "Razbole se lisica". In this song there was a part with hands plaudit and she adored this part. She every time started to laughing out loud with her wonderful smile and plaudit. My next babysitting children was Jana. That was my first payed job. She was so sweet charmingly and nice child. So I never consider babysitting like my job she was like part of my family. She was one years old and she want to learn and know everything. She was so active and want to take everything. We spend time in their backyard she has her swing and her baby-bicycles. So we play with that. When weather was cold or rainy we were in house painting dancing draw singing counting... She was so proud when she learn to write her name. She really likes castles and she draw that and draw pictures of her and write-Jana.
After that I was babysitting our neighbor Mili. He was such a nice child. He always smiling. I took care of him a few hours a day ride in strollers play in sand and of course ride cars especial trucks. So we pretended to be truck drivers and we transported sand. We spend whole summer together and I teach him to write up his first letter( first on sand and after in notebook) to tell tales and sing some nice short children song. Of course we play football and all others sport with ball. He was so small and he made uncertain steps but he was always ready to run for ball.

After that I babysat Stefan. He is so cute little boy. He was about 2 years when I started to babysit him. He is very clever and funny child. He adored to play with his cars. Also he like puzzle paint swing go down with an air slide. But his favorite game is ride cars(and trucks) on his carpet( there are pictures of road gas stations market houses ... on carpet so it's very interesting). He also likes numbers. He can count to 10 and he can show how old is he with his fingers. Our usual day was- I come to their house about 8h make breakfast for Stefan and feed him. After that if it was nice weather we go out in park and play football swung on swing and play in sand. After that we come back home Stefan eats and we play with cars paint draw or something like that. He goes to sleep about 13h. His mum comes home about 15h. If was cold or rain we spend all day in the house we rode cars and truck read a tale sing songs danced make castles from cubes stack the puzzle... We spend really nice time.

That was my short letter. I hope that I told all important things I also want to thanks everyone who will read my letter and I hope I will be soon with you in USA.
