Dear Au Pair Letter:
We are a professional family. Tunji is 41 and is an Architect, he works from home sometimes, other times he is with clients and at building sites. I am 38, I work as an I.T Business Analyst very near the home. We are a Christian family which means we are kind, friendly and treat everyone like family.
Kitan is 6, he goes to school 6 miles from home. He is a happy boy with lots of energy. He loves to play but we like him to learn also.
Our home is a nice 4 bedroom house with all appliances, internet, cable tv etc…, you will have your own room with TV but share bathroom with us. Our town is very close to London, only 6 miles and there is a lot to do here. There is cinema, shops, gym, library and 10 mins walk to train station from our home.
The job is to help with Kitan – that is taking him to school and activities but not everyday. You will keep him entertained and happy. Play with him, teach him and be a friend to him. Because he is at school, we also need help with keeping the house clean – kitchen, living room, bathroom, bedrooms, laundry – for everything to be tidy. If you can cook, that will be great too! We want someone who can stay for 1 – 2 years.
You will work 30-35 hours a week, Mon to Fri and babysit in the evenings 2 or 3 times a week – if we need. Usually we do not need this. In the holidays, you will spend more time looking after him if we are at work and we will pay extra for this.
