Dear,
We have already had three wonderful au pair during the last two summer and we really hope you would like to be the next as what you wrote is exactly what we are looking for!!
My home will be your home and you will have the great responsibility of my children during the afternoon
We are looking for an help as the company in Rome where I work changed the location and the timetable of my office and so, for the traffic of Rome more than the actual distance, I will not anymore able to look after my children during afternoon .. to check during they are doing their homework…to bring them to the birthday party of their friends..
Basically we are looking for a “big sister” who feels like to get always be involved with our children….I mean., during winter time, you’ll take them back from school..and pick them to their sport activities ( as I used to do…) but always talking to them and asking how has gone their days..if they had same flights with someone classmate…and so on….
Furthermore we are looking for an english fluent nanny ( so hard to find in Italy..) as we would like to improve the English of our children so we will try to speak just English at home. During winter time we had an American babysitter untill last week but she had some her trouble and came back to her country with her husband ( she is not live in). That’s the reason we would like to have an au pair as soon as possible..

Anyway if you need to learn or improve your Italian I’m able to teach you, I have already done with the last au pair. We spoke Italian and (I gave her some homeworks to do too !!) but hidden from the children because they would start taking advantage!!!
Our home is in the countryside of Rome…so a regular driving licence is really important. The first bus stop is two miles far from home but with the other au pair, during their free time, we used to take them the first subway station and take them back home and when they felt sure of the streets we gave them the car during the week end. Your free time will be from 8:30 in the morning (after you’ll drop children at school) until 1 pm ( when they will exit from school) and after 6- 6.30 ish (when we will came back home from school ) Saturday and Sunday will be free…but you can join us whenever you’ d like.
Probably you’ll cook lunch (simple meal) for you and childrenYou’ll have a private room, tv, internet connection, we’ll share the bathroom in the downstairs.
It will be my pleasure to teach you Italian cooking and to introduce you to the whole family ( my grandmother in low is a graet cooker, my brother is your age and they are very nice..), It will be our pleasure to make you test our favorite plates and bring you to our favorite places in Rome…..Tempio di Esculapio, colosseo….ans so on..
We are an open mind and funny family, we like smiling and playing together, we like running and go around Rome and Italy in general…but we are an honest family who dependents on its work so the weekly pay we can offer you is 60€
