Dear Au Pair Letter:
Dear Au Pair girl, we are a separated happy couple with good moral backing, a normal lifestyle and a lovely red haired 7 year old girl Lisa.
We live on the little, green island of Elba/Italy (a beach/sea and nature lover's paradise) and we are looking for an au pair girl to look after Lisa for the spring and summer period while both parents are away at work for the tourist season (from march/april until 30/09/2012)
Part time, 5-6 hours a day in the afternoon, Sundays off.
A little cooking and some light housework and shopping is also required.
No babysitting at night will be required.
We offer independent accomodation in your own detached, fully restored ex-stable next to the father's farmhouse, in an isolated, rural area of the island, in the countryside, up on the hills (see picture), with a view of the sea, 5 Km to the nearest town where the mother lives and 5 Km to the nearest beach.
We also offer all our food, a friendly and easygoing atmosphere, free unlimited use of internet (you can also bring your wi-fi equipped laptop) and the use of a spare 50cc. moped that you can use in your free time to go round town or to the beach.
You will also use the moped daily, to go to the nearest village where the mother lives with the child.
We also offer the possibility to invite a member of the family or a girlfriend of yours (one at a time please) to come and stay as your guest: if your guest is happy to help us out in any way, it will be much appreciated.
We will also offer a monthly salary/pocket money: we will make every effort not to disappoint you.
The au pair girl should be playful but mature, reliable, honest with a driving licence and speak good/intermediate Italian and possibly German. She should also be familiar with rural/wild life, happy to live in an isolated area, put up with the inconveniences of hot climate, bugs, dusty and bumpy country paths and not scared of dogs.
For most period in the summer you will be looking after Lisa on the beach or in the town square.
We will prefer applicants who will be also available for the same period in 2013.
Please note that we are outside smokers (we never smoke indoors).
