If a relationship is not based on mutual respect and truth then it usually cracks. It is true for any kind of relationship and it is very relevant to the Au Pair relationship.
Not all the Au Pair agreements end up at the agreed time. For many many reasons it could end. Some reasons are normal like you have to go back home for family reasons or the family move houses and you don't want to move with them etc etc. There is the possibility of very bad reasons like you didn't take care properly or the family doesn't buy enough food for you.
The idea is that lot of things can go wrong and you should be prepared to face them. We don't suggest considering something going wrong at the firs moment. Like any other agreements, the Au Pair relationship can have some hard times but trough discussions this can be solved.
The main idea to overcome all the problems is to TALK. Only talking to each other can solve the problem.
