There is no Au Pair program in Canada but working there is possible under the Live-In Caregiver Program. This program is designed to supply Canadian market with caregivers when the internal supply is short. On top of childcare, specific to Au Pair program, a live-in caregiver can provide care for elderly and disabled in a private household.
Some nationals don't need a passport to travel to Canada but a work permit is required. An important thing to remember is that participation in this program can be done for maximum of 2 years and this must be completed within 3years.
