Switzerland allows nationals from EU states, USA and Canada to become Au Pairs for a maximum period of 18 months.
Host families have the obligation to enrol the Au Pair in a language school. They can choose to take up to 10% from your salary to help with the costs. On top of this families are obliged to pay your health and travel insurance and give you at least one month of holiday per year.
Au Pairs working hour can range between 30 and 40 hours per week.
