Working hours: usually up to 25/week but can go up to 40 for Au Pair plus;
Pocket money: £60 to £120 per week
- EU nationals can travel freely to UK
- Romanian and Bulgarians need to obtain an accession worker card from the Border and Immigration Agency before starting the placement. For more info Click here
- Commonwealth nationals need to obtain a holiday work visa
- Nationals of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Republic of Croatia, Macedonia, and Turkey must obtain an Au Pair visa from their British Embassy or Consulate before they travel to the United Kingdom.
- US must obtain a blue card to be able to take Au Pair jobs
