1.Encourage children. When children do something well praise him immediately. So show them that you appreciate what they did and stimulate confidence.
2. Use the power of example. Children observe and learn continuously. Be constantly aware of what you do and ask yourself if you act in a way that you would like a child to imitate.
3. Play roles. Children acquire social skills through play. Let your child take the initiative and correct it if necessary. Do not tell him/her that he/she did something wrong – that destroys self-esteem. Better is to show what effect their actions have on others and help them to remember how it was for them when they passed through this experience.
4. Do not give up! Caring for a child is consuming energy, producing worry and often seems devoid of satisfaction. There is no"perfect mother", "perfect nanny" or "perfect father".. Accept that everyone makes mistakes and do not hesitate to ask for help.
5. Establishes rules and be firm in applying them. Children feel safer if they have limitations and clear rules. They will try constantly to ensure that the rules are still in place. Keeping the rules ensures the child that is loved and it is safe.
6. Be strong. When your child tells you that something has happened bad do not react negatively or with anger. Cooperate with him to find the solution to any problems. Thus the child will continue to have confidence to tell you his concerns.
7. Stay calm. Learn to not react to behaviour in an inappropriate or hateful manner. If you feel angry, wait until you can control your anger and react better. This will help you find the right response.
8. Do not bribe but reward. Bribery teaches children that they must behave badly to get what they want. Reward desired behaviour with something intangible, such as reading a story to them.
9. Boredom. If a child is bored - begins to make mischief! Find them something to do and eventually to learn to do it alone. Do not exaggerate, however, children need time off just like you.
10. Do not be afraid to discipline. Discipline does not cover screams, kicks, or the threat of a punishment. Discipline is a calm way to teach some things, to reward certain behaviours and to use the power of the example. Strategy to let time elapse between farce and discipline will help you get rid of anger and frustration and will allow you to discipline them in a strong and loving way.
